South of Sunnyside

Life as a first-time homeowner is always interesting. There are many lessons to be learned: how to be a “good” neighbor; how to keep grass from dying; how to organize all the crap stuff collected over a relatively short lifetime; and more. The writings found here describe these lessons, as my wife and I learn them.

We live in a house that was built in 2005; we moved in October of that year. Since then, the market has taken a dive, and now we’re stuck, South of Sunnyside (the golf course), so we’re trying to make the best of it…
