I sure as hell hope it’s not, though I will admit that the news of McMillan’s release of their development across the street reminded me that this post had been drafted. And it reminded me how defeated I’ve felt over the last few months.

Rob – thanks; it’s been brewing for a while, but it’s been hard to pull the trigger. I actually commissioned a designer last summer/fall so that I could move away from a free theme, but just keeping old posts alive doesn’t justify the work in converting the designs to a theme.

Kiel – you know there’s more to come. My goal is to create less than I put to rest, though

I think this consolidation is a GREAT idea. I’m going through this myself and find the exercise exciting and depressing at the same time.

In the end I think it’s a good thing to bring your “identity” or “brand” as it were into focus.
